Discover Greatness

How do some people discover greatness within themselves? When I say greatness I'm talking about 1. spiritural breakthroughs 2. obtaining one's full potential in life. There are several people who have obtained this greatness I believe. Number one my list is TD Jakes. A man who has dedicated his whole life to serving God and God's people. Does one become great by serving God or is one a great person who serves God?

I feel like the answer is a person becomes great by serving God. I also believe a person can obtain their full potential by knowing God. I use myself as an example. Just a few months ago I was totally and completely without any hope. Then after praying and seeking God, instantly hope walked into my life. I'm not saying I don't have days when I feel down, I'm saying, I found hope and grace when I thought my entire life was over. I was caught up in the world, living my life for me, doing what I wanted to do with no regards for anything. Now my life has a purpose and focus, I'm not just chilling..I'm walking with God, trying to discover greatness.
