Waiting, listening, waiting

Its a very delicate process to wait, listen, and wait for the Lord's response to a request. I'm asking God for direction in my life, in all areas of my life. I wasn't really a patient person until this particular timeframe. I have always been a person who pretty much followed my own advance and my own objectives. Now, I'm following Jesus Christ; the challenge is to surrender my own personal will and goals for His. In a time and age where everything is accessible at breakneck speeds, its important to STOP and consult the Father before I make any rushed decisons. Ultimately what I am saying is, I believe its imperative to yield my entire life to the authority of the Holy Spirit. So today I continue to wait, listen, and wait.
